Q.  What is a podcast?

A.  A podcast is like a radio show. Instead of having to tune into a particular radio station at a specific time to listen, a podcast is recorded ahead of time and can be downloaded and heard whenever it is convenient to you. The process of having the show downloaded automatically is called “subscribing”.

Q. What is subscribing?

A. Subscribing is simply “tech-speak” for having Desertcast delivered to your computer automatically when a new show is made available. You will need a podcast aggregator - the best known is Apple’s iTunes. iTunes runs on a Mac or PC computer.

Q.  Where can I get iTunes and is it free?

A. Click here to download a copy of iTunes. iTunes is free and you don’t need an iPod to use it.

Q. How do I subscribe?

A. Once you have iTunes, click on the link below and Desertcast will be added to iTunes and downloaded whenever a new show is released!
